Be sure to check the length of the screw

I didn'tcheck the length of the screw and assumed it was the same as some others in the workshop had. I I received the screw it didn't fit the vise. My fault, but then I am a beginner and shouldn't have assumed even tho the others I had seen were from Woodcraft. I have rebuilt the vise to fit the screw, but the smaller jaw width isn't as useful for carousel horse carving since the pieces I use are so large.

    1-1/4 Bench Screw

The bench screw was purchased to make an end vise for my work bench. It is exactly what I wanted. Earlier I purchased the same style screw for the front vise for my bench. They work well. Somewhat heavy, but are solid and easy to use.

    1 1/4" German bench screw

Used this product as a leg vice on an old style workbench. Powerful grip, sturdy, spins easily. Lots of cranking to move the leg vice in or out.

A great part of a Super Vise

The operation is very smooth. The strength is overkill for the leg vise that I built. But it works extremely well.
