Spring is finally here!  It’s time to get out on your patio or deck and enjoy the season.  If you are thinking about new outdoor furniture this year, give some consideration to building Adirondack chairs.   This classic chair gets its name from the New York mountain camps that snapped up hundreds of them after it was invented in the early 1900s.  I built two for my deck and have been enjoying them for years.

    Fits fine, glides very little

We bought the glider plans, and the bracket. The bracket fits but doesn't let you glide more than a few inches. Not much of a glide.

    Cheap design

I built a glider myself and used this hardware. Read the reviews and thought this would be a good product for the price. After installation, the bearings came out of the brace. Not happy with the overall design. Should have a better way to have the bearings in the brace.

    Bend to fit

Brackets have to be bent to fit most glider plans. Dimensions listed are inside to inside. Bending loosens the bearing. Suggest adjusting plan dimensions to fit glider.

    Nice product

Product is slim enough to fit in some tight places and seems to work well. The gliders I made last spring are still going strong and I've had no coplaints as of yet!I've purchased several sets and the workmanship semms to be consistant.

    Works great!

Made a baby cradle for my next Grand Daughter. All parts I bought from Woodcraft (Glider hangers and furniture screws) worked like a charm. Shipping was great! Thanks Woodcraft! Bill H.

Brackets may not actually be 1 1/4 inch

The offset of the bracket was not 1 1/4 inch as advertised. The offset was actually just over 2 inches. Good thing I was able to bend the offset to where I needed it to be. Other than that, the durability is great, these brackets are tough!
