        Great Bandsaw

I purchased this Rikon 10-326 bandsaw from the Woodcraft store in Woodbridge, Illinois. The staff at this store location were extremely helpful. The bandsaw has far exceeded my expectations. Tool free bearing adjustment is one of the many great features of this model. Resaw capacity and dust collection are superb. The fence stays true after installation and alignment. Rikon also offers a 5 year warranty unlike most manufacturers. I had one small issue and contacted Rikon’s customer service and they corrected the issue straight away. Great saw for the money.

        Almost...

I bought a Rikon 10-326 just after Christmas, brought it home, and started the assembly process. After getting it most of the way done I learned that Rikon had not included the bolts to attach the table top to the saw. I called, they said they'd send them right over. January 8th... called again. January 13th... Still no bolts. I spoke with their guy who said that they are out of stock on the bolts and they'd send when they have them. After asking a few questions, I drove to Lowes, bought M8 bolts (standard fare) and installed the table. The saw is very well made, cuts very well in my initial test cuts yesterday, and is rock solid, except for the very poor customer service experience. Perhaps I'll revise this review when I do finally get the bolts (February?). That's the one black mark on an otherwise great product thus far.

        Worked well

High quality Bandsaw with great resaw capability. I gave it a four star rating for a couple of reasons, over all I am very happy with the purchase. I did encounter a couple of very annoying issues with a brand-new Bandsaw. Upon unpacking I found the table with a substantial amount of rust on both the top and side, clearly it was either packed wet or was subject to a substantial amount of rain. The table did have a plastic bag surrounding it and was packed in some sort of Cosmoline or oil but water got in some way. I was able to sand and use steel wool to remove most of the oxidation / rust a stain is still visible. I also found nuts and washers at the bottom of the Styrofoam packing just thrown in there without any packaging. Like I said the bandsaw is a major upgrade to what I am used to using and I am thrilled with the accuracy and the power. The rack and Pinion Guide bar is a nice option but it does require guide bearing adjustment from top to bottom of travel. I also did purchase the mobile base for the Bandsaw, but i was disappointed with its functionality. When the stationary wheels are assembled to the base it inhibits the Storage cabinet door from opening past 60°. How a product like this gets past engineering and into production without this being noticed Is inexcusable. Both the engineer and the CEO of the company should be Flogged and then fired, no questions asked. To make the storage compartment functional the wheels will have to be extended outward requiring angle iron extensions. My shop is small so for certain functions I do need to move the saw. When this saw is in motion it is a little tippy to the front.

        RIkon 14" Deluxe Bandsaw

I just received my new bandsaw, and while assembling it I found that the front right corner of the table was covered with heave rust deposits. I contacted Rikon and found them to be very willing to solve this issue. They are sending me a new table. The person I talked with was Raymond Middleton, and he was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. A pleasure to do business with. I completed the assemble and setup of my new bandsaw, then made a few test cuts. This saw cuts beautifully. Nice even, straight cuts. No wobbling or drifting of the blade. Very smooth running a quiet, as power equipment goes. You cannot go wrong with this saw.

        Great Bandsaw

I just made my first cuts with the Rikon 10-326. I have to say that I am impressed thus far. I was torn between a 17" Grizzly and the 326. Picked it up at the Wilmington store. It took my son and I about two hours to completely set it up. One problem though. Instead of having a right and left side panel, I had two lefts. We drilled a hole for the door knob instead of waiting for the correct panel. works just fine except now I have unused hinges on the front. Saw is smooth running.

        Wow

Bought this the other day. All I can say is this thing is a beast. Not only heave duty but really heavy. Make sure you have two people to move and put together. Other than that it's worth every penny. Great buy

        New10-326

I did a lot of research before buying the Riki's 10-326 and glad I did. This is a lot of bandsaw for the money. People at the Indianapolis Woodcraft were more than helpful and provided excellent service and suggestions. I went to their store and picked it up myself to expedite getting to use the saw. I needed some assistance to place saw on stand but otherwise assembly was easy(took an hour and 15). I resawed a burl and several pieces of exotics and the saw never hesitated and it 1/8 consistently. I am very pleased with this machine thus far. Thanks to the guys at Woodcraft and Riki's for providing quality tools and service.

        Brand-Spanking New Bandsaw User

I am brand new to bandsaws, but I often find myself in the shop wishing I had one. Sometimes I even used my scroll saw for rough cutting along lines. I purchased this bandsaw today, along with the "Mobility Kit." The main portion of the bandsaw is already assembled; however, I had to assemble the base, attach the table, and fence...NONE OF THIS IS A BIG DEAL TO ME! I'm merely pointing out what you're in for if you decided to purchase this bandsaw without having Woodcraft assemble it for you. Anyway, I ended up with a few extra pieces but I was able to successfully assemble it. I recommend watching Rikon's assembly video on their website and following the instructions that came with the saw. The video is good, but it is easy to miss some things, like using washers when attaching the table. The instructions leave a lot to be desired as well, but when both the video and instructions are used in conjunction with each other the assembly process is much easier.
