Perfect Fit!
I have the Rikon 10-3061 ten inch bandsaw. It’s a great bandsaw but it doesn’t come with a miter gauge. Earlier reviews state that this miter gauge doesn’t fit the Rikon 10 inch bandsaw miter slot. This latest version (which looks different than the photo on this listing) fits perfectly in my 5/8 miter slot. The body is cast aluminum and the miter gauge appears to be good quality.

Great Price
I purchased this miter even though there were some bad reviews. I bought this to replace the cheap broken plastic miter that came with my 10" Craftsman band saw. I had no problems with it after some minor adjustments. I will purchase a second one for my sander. I was going to give it 4 stars but I do really like this miter.

Save Your Money
The gauge I got is slightly undersized, so it wobbles in the slot. This just adds insult to injury, since it appears to be the only 5/8" miter gauge on the planet. It is as if, as an afterthought, Rikon said, "Whoops, we gave our 10-305 band saw a 5/8" miter slot, and nothing fits that. We'd better throw something together to pacify our customers." It is a bummer.

Too Small
It would be less than 1 star if I could choose it. This Item is much too small to fit the 5/8" slot on the 10-305 Rikon bandsaws cast iron table that I purchased at the same time .

Will NOT fit a Rikon 10-305 Bandsaw !
I will attempt to use parts from this item to make my own miter guage.

Used for parts
I used the miter gauge part and made my own bar to fit an elderly, small Sears table saw that we're using at a cabin were upgrading. Inexpensive, enough parts to make what I needed. Much better than the wood block on a stick I had been using.

It is what it is
As the other reviewer noted, for some reason this product comes up in a search for a 5/8" gauge. It is not, but by ordering a piece of 1/4"x5/8" aluminum from an online metals supplier and then drilling & tapping a few holes, I have a working gauge and some additional experience. Plus, I get a longer slide, which another reviewer commented on. Let's just not think about the total cost of this project....

5/8" Miter Gauge
In my search for a miter gauge, I asked for a 5/8" miter gauge!!!!! It gave me this without any explanation. Therefore I took it to be a 5/8" miter gauge. IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm now trying to see if I can "Jerry-Build" something to add to it so it will work in my Craftsman Shaper!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would hope you will have an answer!!!!!!!!!!! I tried to give a "Zero" rating!

Miter Gauge fits too tightly
Have only installed the miter gauge on the saw. It fits very tight. While use will loosen it it shoud not be this tight.

Alright for using with the 10-305 band saw, but I would prefer something with a longer sliding base
